Consider the 2006 Charles Addams Engagement Calendar. Spiral bound and with sturdy plastic front and back protective covers, this is a calendar whose heavy cardboard pages display entire months, weeks on a day-by-day basis, and lots of oddball Addams illustrations.

These are the times when a husband would be nice. He could either work on the car, or be the one who worries about it. But then again I would have to make him dinner and clean up after him and deal with his verbal abuse, so I'm actually glad that I dont have one of them around and can get the car taken care of on my own.

on the causeway which leads to the beach there's a guy w/ a van who has wooden crosses all over it along w/ various signs denoting that it's a prayer station!!!! Another nut case. Like people are going to stop along the road and join him for a quickie prayer. The other interesting thing I've seen are the garbage trucks.

Yesterday I took a 30 minute walk at lunch, up to the Washington Monument (which I am sure you are all dying to know is the 0,0 point for the City grid coordinate system) then I ate my salad and some vegetable soup I picked up at Au Bon Pain.

An elderly man emerges from the enormous building housing six or seven ministries, holding a mug of water. He steps onto the scrubland beside the imposing entrance, kneels at the base of a decrepit lamp-post, from which coloured wire extrudes. Produces a heating element from one pocket, a tea-bag from another. Wires it up, wanders off leaving the water to boil.

R+B star CIARA is to make her movie debut in a new film about four privileged female volleyball players, who are transferred to their rivals' school when their private campus burns down. The movie will be called RUMBLE. I don't see Ciara listed in the cast as of yet, but the obligatory "is she a man?" is in the messageboards.
