My washer's brilliant, I love it. I actually do feel a genuine emotional attachment to it. Thing is, I don't think I'm alone in this. The bloke who sold it me has rung up four times to check on it, and he's not fishing for a positive feedback cos I gave him one straightaway .

Those days in the late 1970's, early 80's which wakened me from the dream I had, -she breached that gap today, somehow, and entered my consciousness at around 7am. So, today, I'm hand-in-hand with a multitude of memories which had been covered with daily, weekly, yearly living...

Old Mannie Shoestring had this story...no, this idea; that nobody ever left Donley. That's why the cemetery was so crowded with so few names. That's why the playing fields were so starved. That's why the housing estate was so infested on the Stock Exchange. That's why the food was badly spelled. That's why the buses always stopped in convoy. That's why we all stripped instead.

I was pretty pleased with that, as pretentious as it is. So, the question is, how many of you bastards are going to Google it to see where I ripped it off from?

He is a real edgy guy, sometimes tender, most times sarcastic. Famously self-obssessed he turns this near disorder into an audio diary of his life. I like him because every song is a story, his voice is strong and clear and he's funny.

I went to to see a Careers Adviser the other day... She asked me about my interests of which I was telling her about Photography, also that I am interested in Health and Therapy and strangely enough came up with a career as a Career Adviser. She said that I was very suited to that job role.

I stopped off at Nero's this morning as a treat to offset the grey drizzle. The walk up from London Bridge wasn't as bad as the walk home last night. Last night was very wet and to cap it all, for the second night in a row, the trains were disrupted because of a fatality on the track! As this is my first autumn as a London commuter, I wonder whether it's because the summer is over, nights are drawing in and the weather's getting worse. Does this happen every year?

The middle part of the table is looking very healtly and close. A suggestion has come in that we reduce the handicap from position 1 - 7 to either 1 point or 0 points and then allow positions 8-11 still to maintain a 2 point if they play someone in 7 or above. Your thoughts please ?

An umbrella is a device used for temporary shade or shelter from precipitation. They can be made by stretching a fabric or other material over a wire frame. Umbrellas carried by hand are now usually used as rain shields, although their first use was for shielding from the sun; however, as tans became more sociably acceptable, this usage declined.
